Welcome to the MoM Wiki

Welcome to the Masters of Media Wiki, a collaborative effort to organise and share research resources by the MA New Media & Digital Culture students.

The Wiki aims to map out institutions, resources, events, tools, methods and readings relevant to new media research. It was launched in 2012 as part of the New Media Research Practices Course.

The MA New Media and Digital Culture is one of the Master’s programs of Media and Cultural Studies, which is part of the Faculty of Humanities. The various courses also attract new media-oriented students from the two-year Research Master’s in Media Studies programme.

The MA programme also has a collaborative blog.

The course New Media Practices looks to develop an understanding of the ways media, particularly new media, address people, and articulate social and cultural practice through diverse forms of engagement. To achieve this, course participation is specifically linked to interaction with the objects of study.
